Allereerst vindt er een consult plaats. Tijdens dit consult stelt de huidtherapeut een aantal vragen en kun je zelf natuurlijk ook vragen stellen. Indicaties voor een behadeling met de Dermapen zijn onder andere het verminderen van acnelittekens, littekens door verwonding of striae. Om littekens en/of rimpels goed te behandelen werkt dit alleen effectief door bij (diepere) huidlagen de juiste cellen te stimuleren die herstel mogelijk maakt. Om dit te realiseren werken wij met een speciaal apparaat genaamd de Dermapen. Deze maakt gebruikt van kleine naaldjes die minuscule gaatjes maken in de huid om zo de juiste huidlaag te kunnen bereiken. De diepte van naaldjes kan tijdens de behandeling aangepast worden omdat de huid op verschillende plekken op de huid anders kan reageren. Zo kan er tijdens de behandeling plaatselijk dieper behandeld worden.
